Five Ways to Pump up Your Image, Part 3

Nothing is more disconcerting than showing up for a meeting feeling out of sync with those around you, not to mention that you may be regarded as out of touch. Overdressed or underdressed can be equally inappropriate. Jean and T-shirts are out of place in business as well as business after hours. Aiming for a well-conceived business casual or casual elegant look, you almost never go wrong. Simple, classic styles of clothing, hair and make-up are appropriate for most business looks, but that doesn’t mean you have to look boring- Interesting designs, line, and color combinations in your garments as well as your choice of accessories, can help you create your own unique look. Just remember that anything that distracts from the business at hand is out of place-while getting attention as a creative person of good taste will serve you well.
